Uncle Budgee
Is an ordained Minister in the AIM church. A former NSW and Australian Flyweight Boxing Champion. Uncle Budgee missed out on the chance to fight in the Olympics due to an illness (the mumps), the doctor would not let him travel or fight. Uncle Budgee lived on the Common with his parents.
He was married to his wife Greta, in the only double wedding on the mission.
Thats my father in law . Who is my dad. he took me in and accepted me into his family from day one. I miss him and i love him with all my heart .
He was a father to me when i didn’t have one . He made me laugh he made me think and he made me cry when on my wedding day he told me he loved me. And said he wasn’t welcoming me to the family because i already was. Love ya dad xoxoxx

Uncle Budge is my mother’s brother. I have always held Uncle Budge in high esteem. I remember the ‘good old days’ when I visited my mob on the mission. (We had moved into town when I was about five years old).. I always felt welcomed and loved by Uncle Budge. I find hm to be a gentle, fair man, one with a die hard work ethic, first as a council worker then as a Minister of the Church. I love you Uncle 💕💕💕
